About Courtney

Change Your Story. Change Your Life.

Life is meant to be enjoyed. That starts with creating the BEST You.

You are a motivated, driven individual but somewhere along the way you have lost connection to how extraordinary you are.  Scars of the past and persistent self-doubt have you reeling in angst. You’re left questioning your path.

NOW is the time to get back on track.

Get clear on your values, tackle what is keeping you down so you can feel confident and make strides on living your best life.

How would you describe yourself in three short words?

For me, I’d choose resilient, strong, heart-centered.

Not too long ago, I may have selected different ones for myself.  That’s because my life and career have been marked by several transformations. These experiences are something I’m both immensely proud of and humbled by.

Growing up, my life was normal in many ways — I had friends, enjoyed playing sports, and went on great family vacations.

But, I also felt lost, anxious, and overwhelmed.  Life could be very unpredictable and unsafe.  I grew up with a loved one who had mental health challenges. I endured sexual trauma. I’m also a twin and constantly felt like I was measured and compared to her. All of that to say, I often felt scared and damaged.

The way I learned to survive was to mask my feelings. I was a chronic over-performer and people pleaser. I also was hiding behind a vicious eating disorder and inflicting my own pain.

From the exterior, I appeared to have it all together — a college degree, a beautiful car, and a captivating career. But internally, I was trapped in self hate.

Then, in 2008, I had a breakdown.

I now believe I had a breakdown so I could have a breakthrough.

My partner and I had broken up. It was a terrible relationship, but my heart was still broken. That, compounded with years of running from my pain and causing more personal chaos to my life, ended me up in treatment.

It was there that I made a series of choices that profoundly shaped the next chapters of my life.

  • I chose to surrender my vices and turn towards my pain, hurt, and disappointments so I could finally heal.
  • I chose to cultivate a relationship with myself out of self-love and self-trust.

Now I help others find the same healing

  • I discovered myself once I started peeling back the layers of lies. My long-standing pain and shame, stifled by years of gripping to vices, shifted to love and hope.
  • I felt awakened to a new life and called to be of service to others.
  • It was then that I made a choice to live my purpose.

15 years later, I am a Professional Life Coach with over a decade of experience working in trauma and addiction treatment.  My passion started with helping others recover. It then evolved into helping people move towards their successful, happy futures.

In 2018, I embarked on my personal coaching journey and remember being initially reluctant. I was, after all, pretty proficient in human behavior after practicing as a psychotherapist for many years. However, what I experienced deeply shifted my perspective and touched me to my bones. It meant I needed to trust that I had all the resources WITHIN to create the life I desired, and I wanted to take 100% ownership of  self agency.

Now, I guide driven achievers, like you, to their ideal life.

Together, we create a safe and courageous space to explore and expand YOU so you can achieve optimal wellbeing and fulfillment in your life.

I do that through my Stagnant to Stellar Program or Embodied Healing & Living Program. Wherever you’re at in your journey, I am committed to help you find healing, confidence, and wholeness.

I will evoke the big-picture vision for your life. I do that by connecting you to your inner wisdom so it can be the foundation to cultivate insight and awareness. I’ll also help you to clear what is no longer of service, and ultimately support you to take powerful action. I am committed to bringing forth your greatness.

My goal is to empower you to live your best life and ultimately make the world a better place.

Are you ready to work together and bring your vision to life?
